Models and approaches in the field of computer simulation of processes
Čech, Michal ; Ferdan, Tomáš (referee) ; Touš, Michal (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with computer simulation of processes in the field of energy utilization of waste and biomass. The first part contains description of energy utilization from waste and biomass and fundamental devices of energy systems. There is also described methodology of modeling and techniques used for processes simulation. The next part is focused on mathematical models explanation of processes with constant and variable efficiency. In practical work are compared results from individual considered mathematical models with real data which were obtained from the real operation of waste energy plant. With use of gained mathematical models is considered model situation of cogeneration in the device of biomass and coal co-firing. At the end of this work is suggested implementation of created mathematical models into simulation program W2E.
Process computer simulation
Čech, Michal ; Pavlas, Martin (referee) ; Touš, Michal (advisor)
The thesis deals with computer simulation of processes, which is crucial in the field of process engineering. In the first part, the methodology of modeling and simulation techniques is described as well as mass and energy balances. Specific approaches to process simulation are included. The thesis offers a list of the most often used simulation programs and their typical structure. Sequential modular and equation-based simulation is demonstrated on an example. The results are then verified by simulation software W2E.
Virtual commissiong of the robotic grinding station
Vlašánek, Vít ; Szabari, Mikuláš (referee) ; Bražina, Jakub (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the virtual commissioning of a grinding robotic workstation. Issue of the virtual commisionig of robotic workplaces is is described in the theoretical part. The next section explains the procedure of creating a simulation model in Tecnomatix Process Simulate, creation of the PLC program in TIA Portal, which was used to create HMI visualisation as well. Virtual commisioning was done in the end using PLCSIM Advanced software.
Design of a Robotic Cell for Depalletization and Placement a Rail to a Production Station
Novák, Adam ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
The diploma thesis dealswith a design of a robotic cell for depalletization and the establishment of a rail into a production station. Pieces are weighed into the depalletizing unit in a shape-adapted crates otherwise known as blisters. Each blister contains five to eight pieces(depending on the type of a rail) and anti-corrosion paper. After removing the paper and the piece from the blister, an identification code is stamped on the piece. Then the finished piece travels to the next station. The aim of this thesis is to design arobotic cell that can handle all operations in a given cycle time and to create a simulation model in Siemens Process Simulate program to verify the cell functionality.
Model Of Solar Heating in Outdoor Swimming Pool
Bartoň, Martin ; Malounek, Petr (referee) ; Chomát, Luděk (advisor)
This work deals with modeling of the technological process of heating the outdoor swimming pool. In the theoretical part are given the necessary information for resolving the simulation of heating process. Based on the theoretical background is elaborated a mathematical model of swimming pool and the technological process. This model is programmed in ANSI C language and implemented into the microcontroller ATmega8. There is also a model of the whole problem in Matlab Simulink. The result of this work is practicum model, which simulates the technological process of swimming pool heating. This model is connected to PLC B&R in which is implemented regulation and visualisation of the technological process.
Design of a Robotic Cell for Spot Welding Application
Kaňa, Vojtěch ; Kubela, Tomáš (referee) ; Pochylý, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was to design a robotic cell for spot welding of seat reinforcement and the subsequent automatic transport of the part from the cell. Both construction plan and process simulation in Process Simulate should be performed there. It is therefore an application for the automotive industry. The cell consists of a device into which the operator places the parts and is placed on the designed turntable. The welding is performed by two Kuka robots and welding tongs attached to them. The thesis deals with the design of the structure and the choice of individual components, as well as their appropriate deployment in the cell. Along with the design of the cell, the simulation was processed in the software. The output of the thesis is a 3D model of the workplace, simulation of the whole process of welding and manipulation and evaluation of the cell cycle using the RCS module.
Design of a Robotic Cell
Majer, Tomáš ; Pochylý, Aleš (referee) ; Kubela, Tomáš (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with design of a robotized workplace for welding truss structures. First, the target construction that the work focuses on is shown. Then the functions of the entire workplace are designed, including the procedures for activities and the gross displacement of the used components and their layout. The next chapter itemize specific robots and components. This, along with the solution of safety and ergonomics, makes the layout of the entire workplace more precise. Everything is completed by creating a simulation model in Siemens Tecnomatix Process Simulate, where all the welding operations are simulated.
Optimization of the Production Process in Chateau Winery
Bičan, Vladimír ; Mrázová,, Vladimíra (referee) ; Videcká, Zdeňka (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the optimization of bottling line processes in viticulture. Predictive simulation of a bottling line is used to solve the bachelor's thesis. With the help of the digital twin, measures will be proposed that will lead to increased production productivity and the rational use of machines.
Opportunities in 3D printing using WAAM technology
Mrňa, Libor ; Horník, Petr ; Šebestová, Hana ; Jambor, Michal
The paper deals with 3D printing with WAAM technology. It presents the results of mechanical properties tests of parts 3D printed from low-carbon steel and evaluates their anisotropy. Mechanical properties are compared with those of conventional structural steel of similar chemical composition. Possible outcomes of the WAAM simulations are also presented.
